The second round of applications after internships became paid positions.
Applications for the 2023 Summer session of the White House Internship Program opened this past week. President Biden and Vice President Harris made the announcement jointly, offering internships at 16 offices within the White House, including the offices of the White House and the vice president.
All interns will be offered a stipend of $750 per week, a change to the White House Internship Program made this past summer. “This significant milestone of paying White House interns will help remove barriers to equal opportunity for low-income students and first-generation professionals,” the White House press secretary stated in June.
